Hey all

Thanks for your help with the ATP! thing, if you don't know what I'm talking about then basically we got picked by ATP! for a compilation and about 350 of you voted for us to seal the deal, and now our song 'Believe What Comes Next' will be up for free download via their website on Monday. So, thank you, we honestly weren't expecting to win.

Now here's the dizzle... we have one more show this summer (Cardiff, tomorrow) then we're attending Hevy & Reading festivals so be sure to say hi if you see us around. When those things aren't occuring, we'll be finishing the ridiculously awesome new songs we've been writing and booking some massive gigs for October around the UK. Keep your eyes WIDE. In the mean time, we're all still here so add us on msn heregoeseverything@hotmail.com, follow us @girlafraidmusic, or just paste your love all over our FB wall.

Excellent stuff

We're playing a couple more shows this summer, then we're done for a while to have holidays and spend some time working on some new songs which we're ridiculously excited about but simply haven't had time to finish in the last couple of months for various reasons. We are currently booking up gigs for October through to the end of the year and early 2011 at the moment, and it's looking to be a fairly busy schedule. Announcements soon. A few of you have asked us to come your way, and we're doing our best! If anyone else wants us to come to their city, contact us here or through Bandcamp. (Promotors and booking agents for tours and any other dates, please e-mail booking@girlafraid.co.uk.)

For now though, we're playing a couple of away shows in Cardiff & Oxford before the summer's out, and we'd really love to see some friendly faces there, whether you're local to either area or you just fancy a road trip for a show. We'll be hanging out in the area for both dates so drop us an e-mail if you want to show us around your city or just have a coffee or whatever. So use the FB links below so we can sort you out with cheap tickets and invite your friends on there too, would be great to get lovely-sized crowds away from home :).
